For nearly 30 years, Nelson’s Buildings has built its business around strong relationships, experience, and a way of doing things that has served the company well. As the business continues to grow, including the expansion of its Legacy Builders pole barn dealer program, the next step has been finding ways to modernize the operation without losing what has made it successful.
Many of the processes behind the business were developed long before today’s technology existed. As Nelson’s Buildings and Legacy Builders grew, there was an opportunity to bring more structure and consistency to the way orders, paperwork, and information move through the organization.
Working with CAL, the team has begun digitizing and streamlining those processes, creating a stronger operational foundation around speed, consistency, and accountability. The goal isn’t simply to replace paper with software. It’s to build a more repeatable and scalable process that can grow alongside both companies and better support an expanding dealer network.
As Tristan Nelson shared:
“CAL has helped Nelson’s Buildings organize and improve our order flow, particularly in the areas of speed, consistency, and accountability. It has given our team a stronger operational foundation and a system we can confidently scale alongside our growing Legacy Builders pole barn dealer program.”
For us, Nelson’s Buildings is a great example of what modernization should look like. It isn’t about changing a successful business for the sake of technology. It’s about understanding what already works, identifying where time and energy are being lost, and building better systems around it.
We’re excited about what we’re building together and proud to help Nelson’s Buildings and Legacy Builders prepare for their next stage of growth.
